Mr. Squirms

I tried my hand at a webcomic for a few months after I graduated from college. I re-designed and re-purposed characters I had created in elementary & middle school to suit my post-graduate life. It’s not hard to tell what was on my mind at the time — transitioning from childhood to adulthood, and in particular getting a job. My release schedule was 3 times per week, and it didn’t take long before writing and drawing a full-color comic strip three times a week for free became unsustainable. I don’t think I drew nearly enough of these to figure out what I was doing, but I’d love to revisit this comic if I get a chance. My favorites are the 9th and 12th strips.

Note: the old Mr. Squirms website is not currently running, so don’t try to follow the link.
